At Dahlia Tubers LLC, we want to give our customers the most enjoyable shopping experience, one that will keep them coming back to our store time and time again. That’s why we believe that our store policies should be fair, clear and transparent. Below you’ll find a list of all our policies. Dahlia Tubers

Tubers come in many different shapes and sizes.  The size and shape has no bearing on the size of the plant it produces.  Different varieties have tendencies to be larger or smaller.

SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

What You Need to Know

We ship our dahlia tubers out early in the week to reduce the chances of these precious tubers having to sit over the weekend at the post office.  They ship starting in mid March via USPS Priority Mail.  This time frame can vary depending on the weather forecast. We will do our best to ship at an optimal time based on the destination and the route there.

What should you do when your tubers arrive? 

We're sure you will want to open your box right away to welcome your new dahlia tubers to your home.  This is the right thing to do.  Compare what you have received with what your invoice states.  Inspect each tuber to make sure that there are no areas of softness or rot.  Please let us know within 3 days of receiving your order if you have any concerns.  Plant immediately if your soil temperature has reached a minimum temperature of 55-60 degrees Fahrenheit.  Also, look at the weather forecast for your area so that you can make a good decision.  If it is too cold or wet you will need to repackage and store your tubers in a cool dark location, such as a garage or basement that does not freeze.  We are not responsible in any way for your storage methods or results.  The American Dahlia Society has a plethora of helpful tips.

RETURNS

The Small Print

We want you to have a great dahlia experience so we guarantee that each tuber you receive from Dahlia Tubers LLC will be have at least one viable eye. Each tuber will be inspected prior to shipping to make sure it has a growth point. If you receive a tuber without an eye, we ask that you email us right away. Please include photos of all sides of the tuber, including the SKU printed on your tuber. If you receive a tuber from us that has no eye we will refund you the amount paid for that particular tuber. Shipping charges, though, are not refundable.

This guarantee does NOT cover the following: rot after planting, planting at an inadequate depth, tubers that have had cuttings taken, and/or no flower production. We are also not responsible for tuber loss caused by bad weather, insects, neglect, improper soil conditions, improper fertilization, not enough sunlight, etc. These are all issues that can happen to the best of us but because they  are outside of our ability to prevent we are not liable. Please note that this guarantee is valid for the current growing season only.

TUBER IDENTIFICATION

The Information You Need to Know

Each tuber that you receive will have it's identification SKU printed directly on the tuber in indelible ink.  Your printed invoice will be included in the box.  The dahlia name and the corresponding SKU can be found there.  You can also go to dahliatubersllc.com and type the SKU letters or numbers into the search bar and the listing for that variety will appear.  Occasionally more than one variety may appear but you can just click on each of those listings until you see the one that lists the same SKU as is printed on your tuber.

Your Data is Secure

When you conduct a transaction on our website, as part of the process, we collect personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. Your personal information will be used for the specific reasons stated above only.

 

We collect such Non-personal and Personal Information for the following purposes:

To provide and operate the Services;

To provide our Users with ongoing customer assistance and technical support;

To be able to contact our Visitors and Users with general or personalized service-related notices and promotional messages;

To create aggregated statistical data and other aggregated and/or inferred Non-personal Information, which we or our business partners may use to provide and improve our respective services;

Our company is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.  

 

All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by our company adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

 

We may contact you to notify you regarding your account, to troubleshoot problems with your account, to resolve a dispute, to collect fees or monies owed, to poll your opinions through surveys or questionnaires, to send updates about our company, or as otherwise necessary to contact you to enforce our User Agreement, applicable national laws, and any agreement we may have with you. For these purposes we may contact you via email, telephone, text messages, and postal mail.
